    The key thing is to avoid greasy food when you will be on the boat. Think of the beer as medicine, which it is in this case. I quit drinking 22years ago, and I do not miss it.

    I went on one trip out of the Florida keys to the Tortugas. The captain said the seas were 4-6', not a problem with a 120' long boat. There 12-15' out in the gulf. Coming at us from all directions. I was the only one not sick.

    I just had an idea. Do you have the lime juice in the plastic container that looks like a lime there? It might not taste great, but that would work in a pinch.

    Wow. Thanks for all the hints. I'll look for the lime juice next time I'm out shopping. They do serve fish suppers (fish and chips) or hamburgers and fries, but I seldom get food on board--it tends to be more than I want to pay. I'll remember the peanut butter sandwiches and lime juice next time I'm sailing.
