Default Books about the M1911A1 pistol

I am in need of advice on books that I can buy about the M1911A1. I need a source of info that lists all of the makers, the dates and serial numbers for each maker, and any and all info that I can get. I got the bug and need facts and figgers about the Great M1911A1 pistol.

you don't have to agree with everything they say just as long as you acknowledge the 1911 is the greatest handgun ever developed and all others pale in comparison and you must pray at the alter of jeff cooper and john browning

I wish I still had the two I was borrowed. My friend from work with the Colt M1991A1 Officer's lent me two books about 1911s. They were good. I wish I still had them. But he got sick of watching the Superbad movie he borrowed from me.
