I'm new to reloading. Haven't even bought one yet. I'm leaning towards the Hornady Lock n Load. What are ya'lls thoughts toward that system? I'm looking to reload .223 & 9mm. Also, anybody out there load 300 Blk out subsonic? Many thanks.

I started slow with a single stage RockChucker, then upgraded to a Lee Classic Turret, now I use the Turret and Dillon 550B. There are plenty of East Texas loaders on TFF, hopefully, you can contact one of the nearby ones for guidance and help. Welcome from the REAL North Texas.

Hey Scraggs, since you are looking, take a close look at the Forester Co-Ax. There are a couple of YouTube videos on the Co-Ax which should help you decide.

    Welcome to TFF.

I started in January of this year. I'm not a volume loader so I found a used single stage for $25. It is perfect for my situation.

76 Highboy has a series on YouTube on how to get the Hornady to work well. He has since moved on to Dillon.

What type of reloading and your budget will help you pick the system that is best for you.

Welcome aboard, from Deep in the Piney Woods of East Texas! Any good press will get you what you want. Get your self several good reloading manuals, and read them. Reloading isn't hard to do, so long as you stay with in the min, and max loads, and they may vary form manual to manual. Just use common sense! Good luck!

Welcome to TFF. I use the L&L system in my green machine, other than that I go blue.

You may get more answers to your question if you start a new thread in the ammo and reloading forum.
