I picked up a US 44 a few years ago and am totally in love with it. My one issue is I have one mag and two dysfunctional ones that I purchased from Numrich. Any suggestions?

is your 44US a US Property marked ? mine was a 44US(a) US Property marked and was one of a small handful that was factory drilled and tapped for a side scope base mount.

Yes it is US Property. Since I was once US Property, I seek out old milsurp stuff. Found this in Maine on vacation. I have found a few old guns in Maine. My wife has family there and picked this up at Kittery Trading Post. The others have come from Cabelas on sale.
It's original sight is in great shape and I added a GI Sling.

There is a nice group of Mossberg collectors over on rimfirecentral and they have any answers you may have on yours should there be any issues. The bores on the US property stamped rifles where hand lapped by Mossberg. They generally shoot well and will hold their own at the range in competition if you can do your part.

It is dead on at 100 yards. I have a range setup on my property. It is just fun to practice trigger discipline and not spend loads of money. I love it and it fits nicely into my Milsurp Collection. It is my only .22 trainer.
