Someone offered a hundred grand for it. A fool and their money are soon parted.

Haven't confirmed it but a co-worker told me it sold for over 100k.

One would think after beating a murder charge he'd want to disappear and never be heard from again. Noooooo, not this tool, he's been in the news every year since the incident.

Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear
Racist mcshoot face was one of the bidders. Do you really think that was a real bidder?

Well, actually the last thing I heard about it was that the auction site pulled the auction!

Zimmerman has had his share of personal problems since the trial
I want to give him some slack, just a little. He went through hell, spent alot of time in jail, was labeled a racist and has had his share of death threats.

He was cleared of the charges.

just going through that has to be hell on a person
he has acted like a fool alot since his trial, I don't make excuses for it, but he could have used some theapy maybe or a couple of people in his life to reel him in.

his appears to be in self destruct mode...

    as for the gun..
I would have taken the gun to salvage yard and had the darn thing crushed and melted just because having it around would keep it fresh in my mind

    I don't really get it.

I can understand, barely, someone wanting the gun used by Burr to kill Hamilton, by Booth to kill Lincoln, by Oswald to kill Kennedy, by Ruby to kill Oswald.

NOTICE: None of those guns killed anyone. They were used by four people to kill four other people. Just like THIS GUN did not kill the "cute, wholesome, 12-year-old football player who could have been the Kenyan's son".

Nope. That thug was killed by Zimmerman, not by the gun. I know he was selling it as THE GUN THAT KILLED MARTIN, but gun people should know better and not repeat that stupidity.

Anyway, I can kinda understand wanting a gun used to kill some famous politician. But the gun used by someone to defend himself against some thug? Why?

I could see it from a historical standpoint. A lot of Legal precedent was set in that case, and the event may well be as remembered as the Rosa Parks events, or the Aaron Burr Trials, and such. Not saying that it definitely will, but it could. But on the other hand, I can only imagine the buyer as being a sicko that's either severely racist or into murder-memorabilia. Its a strange world we live in.
