New to the page and relatively new to rifles as well. I have a Ruger American 30-06 and I am looking for a bipod for it. Suggestions on a nice one would be great, but my question is, do you have to drill to install one on the gun since it doesnt come with a rail on it or are there certain bipods that will still fit without drilling? Thanks, Kyle.

I have the second one down on two or three of my rifles. Even with the "cheap" prices, they are pretty good quality.

Have a Harris medium on the HBAR-15. Snaps onto the QD swivel stud of the forend adapter.
