Sam came up with this idea and I jumped all over it. In 2003 Sam was in Nicaragua on some other business and picked up this huge piece of Cocobolo and threw it on the plane to bring home. He ran up on it a couple months ago and sent it to me. I have cut it up into grip blanks. Let me shorten this up and get to the point.
I am going to sell these grips with the TFF logo that I designed a month or so ago. These grips will have the logo laser cut in the grip with a fake ruby set in the center for the red dot. Again these pictures do not do them justice. These grips are for sale to the members for $60 per set. I would like to cut the price some more, but with having to pay for the laser work and the expensive Ruby’s, this is as low as I can go.
These grips will be serial numbered and signed by me.
Number 001 belongs to Sam
Number 002 belongs to me.
The other numbers are available and can be reserved if you like.
I am going to try to bring about 10 sets to the BBQ, if I have time to make them. I have a full June. Leaving for Tennessee on Friday for 10 days to visit my daughters, and Grandson.
Josh, You can get them anyway you want. But I don't think you would have a problem with the ruby, it is inset and flush with the surface of the grip.
I will make some pictures of them on my gun tomorrow and post them.
I just figured out that I forgot the link to the purchase page on this 1911 forum. So here it is again. This will link you to the patches also. Look for more merchandise in the very near future.
The grips I have in stock will only fit the standard mill spec 1911. If your gun fits this description then yes I have some for your gun. I will do a little research and see for sure. But I will have to do this next week, since I am not at home at the present time.
Hmmmm I'd love a set but not sure if it will fit...my Springfield 1911 has ambidextrous thumb safeties, and I have yet to find a set of aftermarket grips that will fit properly with them
This thread is over six years old but Carl might have some of the TFF grips left. He usually puts the "ambi cut" on all of the grips he makes. The TFF grips that I have are on my Taurus PT1911 which does have an ambidextrous safety.
I have two sets left and they are both ambi cut.
Here's how to buy. I tried to put a pay pal link on this page and it would not work so just send and email to cwgrips@gmail.com or PM me and I will send you an invoice for the $60.00, shipping is free and no tax $60.00 flat.
gvw3, I am 99.9% sure they will fit. I am not familiar with that particular gun but from my research I think it is full size.
I will send a PayPal request to Anna now and assume they are sold. If for any reason they won't fit. A 100% refund will be made.
Thanks.
Folks that is all the TFF grips.
